For All Children

For Everyone

Forest Street Primary School is for all members of the community. We believe in building strong community relationships and are active members of the community.

We provide a welcoming setting for everyone, from beautiful playgrounds to engaging classrooms.

Safe and Happy

All children should feel safe and happy while at school. We provide a secure school environment where students can feel comfortable and be ready to learn. Our nurturing environment allows growth of the whole child, both as a learner and as an individual. With a focus on both individual and group learning, students at Forest Street Primary School become active, valuable members of society.

Ballarat Deaf Facility

Forest Street Primary School is a campus of the Ballarat Deaf Facility. Read more about the deaf facility here.

Koori Club

Forest Street Primary acknowledges the Wathaurong people, who are the traditional owners of the land where the school is situated. We pay our respects to Elders past and present of the Wathaurong nation, and extend that respect to all other indigenous people.

Forest Street has worked hard consulting with the community to create an inclusive environment. The curriculum also explores intercultural capability in Civics to develop knowledge, skills and understandings to reflect on how cultural beliefs and practices contribute to individual, group and national identities. We aim to raise awareness and ensure learning opportunities are provided to all our students.
