Learning from Home

Forest Street is preparing for the possibility of students learning from home.

Please find attached a letter that was emailed out to parents on 23rd March. Please click here

As we are looking at the possibilities of students learning from home we are currently organising the most efficient way to set work for students to complete at home in this event. Foundation to Grade 2 would have physical work and books sent home however Grades 3-6 may have the expectation to access their work on a computer/device using the app Google Classroom.

Teachers may also assign videos for students to view and respond to using the website ClickView.

The use of Google Classroom would also give the school the opportunity to view student work and add further work if needed at a later stage.

We are asking that you trial using Google Classroom and ClickView at home. Please send feedback by contacting the office on this process so we can make this time as stress free as possible.

Instructions for accessing Google Classroom can be found here.

Instructions for accessing ClickView can be found here.

Free, unrestricted access to Epic!

In response to the current situation, Epic! has offered free, unrestricted access to students until June 30th. Currently, students are only able to use Epic! during school hours, with a paid subscription required outside these hours.

To get free, unrestricted access to Epic!, our school requires a current email address for each parent. This is the address the Epic! will send the invite to. Please contact the school if you believe we do not have a current email address for your family.
