The swimming program for 2020 runs for 8 weeks, throughout term 1. Students will swim on either a Tuesday or a Thursday at Swim and Survival Academy in Wendouree. The bi-annual Forest Street Art Show took place last week, on Wednesday 16th October. It was a great opportunity for students to show off what amazing artists they are, with each and every student having some art in the show. On Friday, 11th October, dance company “Stomp” visited the school and taught students dances inspired by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. Not only did the students have fun learning the dances, but they also had the opportunity to learn about traditional instruments and ways-of-life. On Wednesday, 18th September, parents, guardians and special guests were invited in to celebrate some of the amazing learning that has been happening throughout term 3. Students loved shared their Learning Journeys, packed full of exciting learning achievements. This included published writing pieces, reading celebrations and maths tasks that show just how far they have come as learners this term.
